No Electrician today

Unfortunately our Electrician from Yellowknife, NWT was not able to fly in Monday, due to foggy weather here in Rankin Inlet. The route from Yellowknife only flies M - W - F. I just heard from him again today, and his flight was cancelled today due to a mechanical problem with the plane. So he is going to try again on Monday. Flight delays and cancellations are quite common here in the north, where the weather takes a toll on the aircraft. Please pray that he would be able to make it in on Monday, August 2nd which, (since I just looked on the calendar) is my anniversary. Becky and I will have been married 7 years!! Praise the LORD!

Container is loaded!!

Thanks to the help of this fine crew our 20 ft container (sea-can) was loaded on Saturday! Some of the items that did not fit in the can will be shipped up in crates and pallets. We want to say a big THANK YOU to all the individuals that helped with the work!

Electrician

Just found out our electrician is going to make a special trip into town tomorrow (July 26) in order to assess what electrical work needs to be done. He will be coming from his home in Yellowknife, NWT. Please pray for safe travels for him. Thanks!

Some prayer requests

Hello friends. Time is drawing nearer for the major work to begin on our building here in Rankin Inlet. We do thank all of you that have prayed and given financially for this project. We are continuing to see God provide in amazing ways. The projected work dates for the larger crew to work are September 3-18, 2010. We are going to try to get the major portion of the work completed during that time. We may have a smaller crew or two prior to those dates and after them as well. Please pray for:

--Reasonably priced airfare to be found.
--GOOD weather for the roofing, siding, and window replacement.
--Logisitcs of travel and housing the crews.
--On time material arrival.
--Safety for workers.
--Wisdom in aquiring insurance.
